All the Highlights from Lagos Cocktail Week With Fayrouz

The city of Lagos has just experienced another edition of the biggest city-wide cocktail celebration! You can guess who was at the front of it all - none other than premium beverage brand, Fayrouz!

In partnership with Lagos-based cocktail consulting company, Eventi Cocktails, the brand gave attendees of the Lagos Cocktail Week a celebration filled with fun, laughter and, of course, lots of cocktails. The event held from the 7th of October to the 16th of October 2021, with the spectacular cocktail village holding on the 15th and 16th of October 2021 at the Balmoral Marquee, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.

Here are some of our most exciting highlights from the event:

Fantabulous Booths

Fayrouz showed up with their utmost creativity, showcasing a spectacular booth for attendees. The booth’s paradise-themed design, vibrant colours, and beauty left mouths gapping, drawing in crowds of attendees like moths to a flame.

Thrilling Bottle Juggling

During the Fayrouz hour on the first day of the cocktail village, attendees witnessed some exhilarating and amazing stunts with exciting bottle juggling. Austin Ogoigbe, a mixologist who also doubles as a juggler, gave a lifetime performance that kept many on the edge of their seats.

Drinks! Drinks! Drinks!

Cocktails, mocktails, and every drink in between were the event’s major high point, and Fayrouz did not disappoint in this field. From the Fay Martini, Royalty to Love and Deceit, and many more, Fayrouz’ tasty drinks kept attendees glued to the brand’s booth.

Famous Faces

One of the main highlights of the event was that attendees got to see some of their favourite faces, such as Fayrouz’ ambassadors Dianne Russet and Denola Grey. Both personalities made fantastic judges for the cocktail competitions.

The Bar Battle!!

The best part was, however, the Bar Battle competition where Nigerian bartenders got to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. Quite a number of the top contenders during this competition made tasty, refreshing cocktails using the ultimate thirst-quencher, Fayrouz. Not only that, we had a Fayrouz hour where the mixologists had their drinks judged by Denola Grey, Dianne Russet, Alex Oke and Ronke Bamgbade. Chukwuma Joseph emerged the winner of the Fayrouz hour battle, clinching a hefty sum of 150,000 naira. Other winners in the different challenges were Oluwatimilehin Anibaba, Seth Awesome, and Victor Obanya.

Across the numerous thrilling cocktail inventions and events, Fayrouz created multiple memorable moments at the Lagos Cocktail Week, reaffirming its title as the best mixer for cocktails everywhere.
