Eat.Drink.Lagos Rating
In the early days of Eat.Drink.Lagos, we never had a rating system. All we had was our little postscript with inside jokes and weren't particularly helpful to anyone but us. By design, we shunned any form of rating because we were very wary of attaching a strict metric to experiences that are purely subjective. What if today's 5-star restaurant gets out 5-star'd by another restaurant? I guess we could update with each trip, but that's stressful. Strict metrics make things complicated.
After some back-and-forth between us, we settled on a solution.
We Liked It
Compared to the average Lagos restaurant, this is a very good restaurant in food and service.
It's "Meh"
The food was palatable but not enjoyable enough to warrant a second visit.
We Hated It
The food here is well below average and the service leaves a lot to be desired.
